Just remember, when you stress a muscle, you'll gain water weight. The water surrounds the stressed muscle to heal it, much like a blister. You absolutely will gain weight when beginning a new exercise routine or increasing it. Don't let it discourage you. Water weight isn't the enemy.

Though I would suggest diet tonic. That's what I use. Brings the calories for a cocktail down to like 75 instead of 300+.
