I'm so upset! ive been gaining the last few weeks. I've got to get it figured out because I don't want to keep gaining. I cut calories and I gain I add calories and I gain. I've added a few exercises but I haven't seen where its helping either

I feel like binging or drastically cut my calories lol just don't know how to get back to losing . I know I do more on weekends but I always have and got down 92 by doing that.

I was looking back at last years calories and was getting less than 700 a day during the week. I'm thinking maybe I need to cut it back down to that and see if it works.

700 calories a day isn't enough. your body is storing instead of burning. get up to at least 1200-1500. your body will keep storing until it realizes it has calories coming in all the time. then, it will burn. I started out by eating a snack every couple hours. an apple, small salad, cheese stick, yogurt cup, veggie mixes, peanut butter, rice cakes, half a sandwich, etc.
If you don't eat enough, your metabolism slows, and your body goes into starvation mode.

Please make sure you are getting enough calories and enough protein - about 50g daily minimum (0.5 g per pound of body weight)

@Keilin_4 it varies. it's usually around 1700 -1800 on fri and higher on sat . I try to keep it lower on Sunday 1400 or less. it's not always the same but close to it .

Have you tried eating at maintenance for two weeks without paying attention to the scale? Relaxing, breathing n enjoying two weeks. After that starting a deficit again?

Yes, Eating at maintenance for a couple of weeks would be great for your body, I think we are almost same height, but you are eating less.

Last month I had a unplanned diet break of two weeks, 2800-3000 calories per day, now I have been losing weight for 3 weeks, it has been mentally hard but I have been having great results, eating 1400+ . I am not telling you that you have to eat 3000 calories per day, but a least try to eat 1400 calories and see what happens. Think about it! 😊
