I went over to my parent's house last night to help them decorate for Christmas. My stepdad has this enormous collection of ceramic lighted houses that he sets up for display during the holidays. So, after we decorated the tree, we unpacked all the houses from their boxes, assembled the scaffolding he built to display them, and arranged all the houses and associated props. It was exhausting! And dusty, *cough* *cough*, *sneeze*, *cough*. It was a lot of fun, though. We listened to music and chatted about stuff and things. I avoided the pumpkin bread and hot cocoa, but it was not easy!
I am so glad it is Friday! I am starting to feel somewhat human again, despite the sore back I have today from all the lifting and stooping last night. I drove to work with the top down and fantasized that I was going on a road trip... until I pulled into the parking lot at work, *sigh*.
Tonight I am going to try to take it easy since this weekend is going to be unbelievably hectic. Right after work I am going to get my nails done which is so very overdue. I can't wait!
I lost 2 more pounds yesterday, too. That water weight is coming off nicely. Yay for low carb!
