I haven't reported in three weeks because of finals and the holidays, but I need to get back on track! I didn't gain, but I'm disappointed imagining what I could've lost if I stayed disciplined. I feel good but it could've been better.

I ate well and watched my count around Christmas but after that, everything went down hill. I had my mother-in-law's birthday, which was incredibly stressful, and then the week of New Year's I've been on a binge. I spent a lot of time with friends but that came with lots of food and alcohol. I'm here to be held accountable, when I let things slide it was easy to just... not report, or count everything, or try to trick myself in some way.

my family/friends commented I lost weight and that it's noticable now. it helped a few of them take my efforts seriously. but others handwaved that I could cheat because of the holidays and it was hard to stand up to pressure. ultimately, it's all on me!

now, it's time to restart.

It makes it hard when the people who don't see your struggle daily just don't get it. It puts a lot of pressure on you to eat and drink in a way you don't want to just because they are and "it's the holidays...live a little". They don't understand and is really hard to resist!

Definitely! It's so hard to resist as it is and then there is pressure when everyone else around you wants you to keep up with them or make choices that make them comfortable. Ugh!
