Sooooo, I know I’m not even down a pound BUT this isn’t as hard as I thought. Initially I thought that this would be much more difficult, mostly in terms of being able to avoid sweets 🍭. Chocolate 🍫 is definitely my weakness!! Oddly enough though I feel REALLLLLY good .... and even the small amount of weight that I’ve lost has really got me motivated to keep on going!!! I feel very inspired! 🙂

That feeling good is the best reward you can get when taking good care of your health. I love sweets too! Made myself keto peanut butter cookies this morning to help with my cravings. very easy to make. 1 cup peanut butter , 1/2 cup xylitol. 1 egg. that's it.. sometimes i put in dark chocolate chips that has 100% cacao.

What kind of diet are you doing? Im doing keto. I think it helps with the menopause waist spread.

I’m not doing a “diet” per say I’m really just trying to be more conscious of what I eat, cut out the sweets 🍬 🍭 🍫, count my calories, make healthier food choices, incorporate more fruits 🍎 🍌 🍉 and veggies 🍅 🌽 into my diet, minimize my caloric intake, and start to exercise more. I heard a little about the Keto diet but I’m not TOOO familiar with it. I just wanted to do something somewhat easy, that way I wasn’t having to make meals for me and then meals for my husband and two daughters .... no one has time for all that!!! Plus I notice that when I have fresh fruit in the house the girls TOTALLY eat it which is great 👍🏻 so it works good all the way around!

Beautiful. With a healthy and strong mental landscape the power needed to follow through is with you. The sugars mess up the head pretty bad for hours after just one little cheat. You can do this.

Here's a tip that I do with and sauces or salad dressings. I mix 2 tbsp with 1 tbsp water. It may be a little runnier but it tastes the same and it goes a little farther without the extra calories.

hubstuckey that's a great tip! I use 1/2 cup water to 1/4 cup each of oil & vinegar when I make salad dressing from a mix... Can't tell the diff! I also water down my aminos A LOT... All the best to you sbackusrn - you're on the right track, IMHO! 👍🌹

So eat a bit of chocolate. Dark with at least 60-70% cacao in it. If it’s too bitter melt it and sweeten it with a bit of stevia. Dark chocolate is good for you. It contains a lot of micronutrients and antioxidants as well as a decent amount of dietary fiber. Just make sure it’s real.
