Some of the eating out bloat left me, (and it is now cool enough to cook at home!). I am working on rehabituizing myself to an exercise routine. I did ten minutes of calisthenics and 7 minutes of HIIT six out of seven days last week, plus bicycle commuted to work five of those seven. Next week I will aim for the same, with hopefully more pep (it was a low bounce week, so the HIIT running in place mostly transformed into vigorously marching in place...and a similar modification of the jumping jacks).
Tracking my exact food intake again is unlikely to restart this week, though I am trying to be mindful of what I actually consume. Being ten pounds lighter than in December means I still have ten pounds to go on my goal for the year (aka the weight listed on my drivers license 🙂). Realistically I should aim for five pounds below that, so my normal weight fluctuations max out, not start, there.

I feel the same way about wanting to go 5+ pounds below my goal, but these last 10 pounds have been so stubborn I am not sure what it will take to get there :)

luck, stubbornness, cooperative body chemistry (my best friend just had her iud out, it had expired, but was reading up on forums and identified a possible reason she has only gained weight while on it, and diet and lifestyle weight interventions that had previously worked for her did nothing), and not giving in as "good enough" to rest when the goal is met. If I am successful with this year's goal, I am already planning to potentially aim for landing on a "Normal" square on a bmi chart.
