Hola from Mexico
This vacation got off to a bad start - I fell on one of the uneven sidewalks. Damaged both knees, wrists, one shoulder and nearly hit my face too but my sunglasses protected me.
So, obviously, I can't do the exercises any more. I hobble around - knees bandaged and body filled with pain killers.
No fun.
I eat more for comfort now.

Go figure.
I've been under my goal weight since I became a life time member of Weight Watchers.
My expectation is that I be at least 10 lbs less than that weight. However, through this experience, I finally see that I am maintaining my ideal weight consistently.
So, why do I have this idealized image of me at 10 lbs. less?? I'm puzzled at this and want to know if there are others who are not satisfied with their goal weight once they reach it.

Finally, all the Christmas parties are over and I am ready to begin my new year's goals.
My mini goals this week are:
- to go back to the Y three times and
-to attend a WW meeting on Wed.
Doable, right?

New Year, New Challenges!
What do we really want? What is in it for me? How can I stay on my chosen nutritional and exercise path? Why do I need to do this anyway? What else could I do to make my choices easier to stick to?
Many questions - the answers?
What do I want = to be healthy
What's in it for me? = a longer and happier life
How can I stay on my path? = pick a path that works - without too many possible obstacles.
Why do I need to do this anyway = to feel better about myself.
What else can I do to make it easier? = use all the skills I have and see and acknowledge all the red flags preventing my own direction.
To a new you and me!

Did really well until having a big gourmet meal last night. Too much heavy cream, cheese and mousse! How do the French do it??
Back on track again! I'm committed to exercise 4x a week! Plus writing a journal adding my Points for the day. It is working.
