I don’t know if anyone saw my reply comment to my last post. But I just wanted to let everyone know that I REALLY appreciate all of your comments. You guys have really showed me my potential. I just wanted to say that the trainer really wasn’t a horrible guy. He basically just took my BMI and showed me where I was at on the chart and this really upset me. He also did not show me how to use any of the other equipment and was basically just trying to sell me his very expensive workout plan, which I politely declined but he was adamant about it. Regardless, I was already very nervous about coming to the gym and this meeting with him just heightened that. I think he didn’t show me how to use the machine bc I informed him that I am in college and play softball and we workout a lot so he probably assumed that I already knew how to do everything. I could have easily asked another gym goer how to stand at the squat rack but my scared emotions got the best of me. I think we have all experienced some gym anxiety at some point and mine got the best of me that day. Again, I appreciate your comments and all the love! For reference, I am 21 years old and 5’8.
