We are having company next weekend. damn. I am excited for the company... My house is still not finished. Still sorting mom's things deciding what to keep and not... its emotional so I am eating... Trying to stay on the NON GAIN side of things not succeeding well. I left the office and craft rooms till last. I dread the office. I hate filing. It is not going to do itself and, I don't want company to see my mess. If I cram it all in a box it will NEVER GET DONE. (I know me).
We are trying something new today. 20 min on a crafting for Christmas project and 20 on the office. I might get a chunk out today. maybe. possibly... I have met me so I will set Alexa on full blast so I can't IGNORE HER. She will quietly watch the clock and alarm on full blast scaring the bejeezus outta me... and when my heart slows down I will go filing. maybe.

HO-LEE-WAH! DISASTER AVERTED LESSON LEARNED. (I hope). So chicken salad.. Gomez says how about some Chipotle pepper.. It will give it a lil' kick. I being me and anything for my Gomez, I agree and open a can. (I did not buy this can I have no idea from whence it came). Thank heavens I tasted it before I put it in the salad. I was expecting a lil kick … a tingle or two, if you will. NOT SLAP YA GRANNIE AT THE FAMILY REUNION, IN FRONT OF EVERYONE INCLUDING THE PRIEST! HOTTER THAN HADES! IT'S A WONDER THE CAN DIN'T MELT, HOT. I don't think I am going to like those things.

Well now... that was un expected.( Don't know why, I know I am an emotional eater.) So.. Saturday My household goods arrived, FINALLY. Paid teens to empty fetch and tote. And I was JUST FINE until I found Mom's favorite wind chimes...( carried from 3 different houses) sat and cried for half an hour... freaked out the teen boys and upset Gomez... He thought I hurt myself. (yes I have by eating but that is another matter) I have put the number 12 on the fridge and all the cupboards containing the sweets I am craving. (figs, crasins, brownies, etc mostly in the fruit food group I am not sure if chocolate is a fruit or a vegetable... legume? Nut? ) So perhaps this will slow me down or make me reconsider the snack.. perhaps allow me time to make a better choice. Lord I hope so... I REFUSE TO BUY BIGGER CLOTHES ..I look like a sausage... If I keep eating I will have to wear p.j's everywhere. Not a good fashion choice for older females. Just looks like you have lost your mind with the hot flashes and no longer give a damn. Lord help me if I out grow them... California is home of the flakes but I think maybe a beach towel in public is taking it a bit too far.
