Hey There, I'm Cristina, a 33-year-old single mom. I live in Medellín, Colombia, and work online for a US company. I have a 13-year-old daughter who is the light in my life. She's helping me through this process immensely.

I started in fatsecret many, many years ago. Going through my old journal entries, I realized that I've gained 55kg in the last five years. Right now, I'm on a healthy weight program through my health insurance; I'm seeing doctors, nutritionists, psychologists, and trainers to learn how to have a healthy lifestyle. The ultimate goal is to get approved for weight loss surgery.

I'm back on track and will keep updating my journals to reflect my progress.
