I was raised in the jungles of Southeast Asia as a sort of feral child. At the age of 13, I left my panda bear clan in search of something better, so I found my way onboard a ship and made my way to California, where I fell in love with a sea lion named Gertrude. We lived out our years in happiness, but Gertrude was sick, and didn't last much longer. She passed away about a year ago of Acute Sea Lion Death Syndrome (ASLDS) and I haven't been the same since. I've tried to fill the void in my heart with food and numerous pets, including a chihuahua rat-terrier mix named Pickle, but I still feel empty. So when I found this site, you can imagine how I felt to know that I can eat and be happy!
