I am back. I started back on low carb 3/8 but haven't been back on here until today. My uncle had his foot removed due to complications from diabetes and well it scared me. My last blood work showed my number at 5.5 but I want it to be better. Diabetes runs in my family and this was my wake up call. I haven't been tracking my food but have been using keto strips to make sure I'm in ketosis. I am, dark color. This is no longer about weight loss to look better for me but about my health. I do not want to wait until it's too late to do something but to do it while I still can.
