I love their polynesian sauce. *sigh* that was before my diet

The content in a small packet of sauce of sodium benzoate is such a tiny quantity that it is harmless. You’d literally have to consume tons of sauce packets to get even close to relatively harmful levels of that. Benzoate is just a form of benzoic acid which is found In numerous fruits and vegetables. Sodium benzoate itself is nontoxic in such tiny amounts. Enjoy your sauce packet

Exactly, Deadpool. Similar to people saying aspartame is bad. Yeah, if you have a couple 12 packs of soda a day.

Yes, Diablo and Aspartame is completely safe. Artificial sweeteners are completely safe. They’re made of chemicals the body can utilize just like all other chemicals foods are made out. Our bodies are made out of chemicals practically. Any normal consumption in moderation is completely harmless. Just like high fructose corn syrup, the body digests HFCS the same way as regular sugar since it’s a derivative of glucose anyways. But, companies will put “no aspartame” on diet sodas because of the large amounts of freak outs people have because of the myths and misconceptions behind it, and that doesn’t make a product sell... now I’m not saying that eating “this way” is or is not any better than eating “that way” just stating science fact over science fiction. so, don’t worry too much about the small things, and enjoy your meals 👍🏻

Then you have an issue with that. I’ve never had any problems with any diet foods or sodas. I would say it may be medically related and you may want to get it checked. I was speaking of everyone under normal non medical conditions. What you described isn’t a normality under those conditions, could even be a food allergy. Because someone I know says that their ears feel that way after eating certain foods, and that’s from a food allergy.

Kaya Warren. Look into the symptoms of Peripheral neuropathy. Perhaps it’s related to that. Certain foods or things in foods can trigger those tingling/numbing sensations.

Aspertame in diet stuff is a silent killer

Any food we consume regardless if their “healthy“ or “ unhealthy“ or “nutritious/organic/beneficial/insert anything else health-related here“ can become deadly in a high enough dosage. Like 70 consecutive cups off coffee can lead to caffeine overdose, or 200 chocolate bars in one sitting, or drinking too much water of water can cause water intoxication under the right circumstances.

Somehow I've got to limit my sugar intake and sleep more? I take a lot of naps but I'm still 15 to 20 lbs. overweight.

@DEADPOOL, they stick a little bit poison, a little bit toxin in every processed food, they make you believe it is OK if such little amount consumed , but it is not, they accumulate a bit from this a bit from that and gives you Cancer, gives you Alzheimer, Autism to your children 1 in every 80 child in north America now, that is how these illnesses epidemic, just saying..

@20-to-loose: Cite your sources please...and make sure they're scientifically sound...And remember, correlation does -not- equal causation...by way of anecdote, I had a professor try and argue that the aluminum in deodorant causes Alzheimer's...using flawed studies and de-bunked methodology. Point being, there is enough misinformation to be found elsewhere, we shouldn't have to be inundated with it here.

exactly why I said that everything is bad in the right dosages. Truth is you can eat as healthy as possible and be as active as possible and still get cancer or any other disease out there, everything is processed to some degree. But having one McDonald’s chicken nugget meal or one diet soda every now and then isn’t going to be the do all end all. Everyone is different, and we don’t know what could happen or couldn’t happen. So no I’m not disagreeing, obviously the food in the USA is filled with who knows what, even organic vegetables have organic pesticides used around them. But those small insignificances aren’t going to make me stop enjoying whatever foods/drinks I want.

As far as things that give cancer related to food. If aspartame gave people cancer than their would be tons of people, mostly ones who constantly drink diet sodas or whatever, and the cause would be from that. But as I said, just like Splenda and other artificial sweeteners they’re harmless and safe in moderate doses and can not cause problems with the small amount that is present in the drinks. Many many sources online are filled with “X drink/food/chemical causes cancer/gives kids autism/whatever” and many are bs and many lack evidence. Not to say all of them, and not to say that sure, there are most likely some people and kids who can possibly get those problems from those things that can trigger the cancerous stuff or whatever else. Just like some people can’t have gluten while others can. Too many variables, too many people, and anything can happen. So, just enjoy yourself while ya can and d what makes you happy

Too many people watch so-called documentaries on Netflix and take it as gospel without any kind of research. The biggest reason misinformation will continue to exist is because people stand to gain money from it. Fear mongering headlines get clicks/views.

Yep! Just look at the “flat-earthers” and people abducted by aliens 😂lol
16 mar 18 av medlem: DEADPOOL12345
@Diablo, the ones who make money over peoples sicknesses are the pharmaceutical companies, they make billions over cancer alone each year, you say look at the research, what research, the ones that the same pharma corporations finance?? look at the number of people sick going up year after year because of the toxins in food, your perception is deceived, wake up!

aspartame and sodium benzoate are poisons!
17 mar 18 av medlem: 20-to-loose
Fear mongering nonsense! If you're going to discount science because of your preconceived bias, then there is no talking to you, I'm just sad that your hogwash may be taken seriously by some visitors.
