Finally got my heart rate monitor for my swims... and gulp, found out that I'm swimming too hard! I am only faster than 14% of swimmers in the world using the same device (about 100k of them) but I swim further and more often than 99% of those same swimmers. I burn an average of 1500 calories per day on my swims and I eat an average of 800 calories per day... My fitness program recommends longer recovery times... seems I'm overdoing it a tad... I logged a 4.6 or higher aerobic training score 7 times this week and you're only supposed to do that twice a week... oops!
