Dear Scale,

I am writing this letter to you know that I don't get mad, I GET EVEN.

You have not budged in 3 DAYS. I will stay the course. I have been averaging 28.12 net carbs and with a little calorie cycling and fasting, averaging 1386 calories between Sun - Tue. (I am eating enough because I go to bed satisfied and don't have any cravings after dinner)

I expected 204.x or 203.x today and still 205.2 - Urghhh!!!!!

I am disappointed in you, stupid scale.

Thanks all. I WILL WIN. Not worried. I am just letting the scale know that I mean business. Out of concerns for getting too much protein per meal, I miss calculated my intake and the # may have been too low overall for the day based on my activities or lack there of. I got this!!! Thanks again. Scale... Kiss off! The whoosh is right around the corner. Homeostasis is trying to discourage me but I am a mad scientist logging, analysing and adjust if/when necessary. I probably could use a bump in calories while paying attention to my macros. Off to Micky D's I go.... (Just kidding!) -- Onwards..

Wishing I could zap you into a DXA scan, Coach! (duel-energy X-ray absorptiometry, but then you knew that!) I'm 100% confident it would be showing you mighty progress increasing lean mass, decreasing visceral fat, and all the numbers the floorbox lies to cover. I'm looking for an alternative to the only commercial vendor I see in your area; they charge five times what I paid, which means not a great option for regular updates. Also, it looks like the results printout they give is far less detailed and customer-friendly than ideal. (Is there no demand in your region, or would a van-based DXA service do well there?)

@T8U9 -- Yesss!!!!!!!!!! A van-based DXA service do well in Boston where I work but I live across the state in the country. After plugging in my #s into ketodietapp, to lose weight achieve using a Large calorie deficit (39%), I need the following: Required Calories 1477 kcal, fat 104 grams, Net Carbs 25, Protein 111 grams Actual(current) Calories 1191 kcal, fat 101.51 grams, Net Carbs 18, Protein 50 grams This will be a challenge to get 60 grams of protein in without the fat jumping up too high. Strike the prior sentence (Thanks AMAZON). I have a plan to get to 100 grams of protein by end of night with little fat increase from my current # of 101.51 Challenge Accepted!!! (Tomorrow's post should be about how I kicked a$$ and took names). Got to go for a walk now to help digest this massive 1064 lunch I just consumed)

Hang in there Ches...the scale will succumb...I can tell you that from experience. I just broke though after beating on that scale for two weeks.

Think perhaps you have been way to low on your calories and gone in to starvation mode. If you must, be low on a couple of days but they have a refuel day

I bet your scale doesn't respond well of you kick it, just like mine😉 I also use that app fir macros.. as you lose weight/body fat it's also important to redo the calculation.. mine has changed since I dropped 9lbs Go ches You will win !!👍👍
