I went shopping for clothes yesterday. I only bought a few things, two shirts, and a pair of pants, because I wanted to have something, on hand, that would fit me better than the clothes I have been wearing, which was getting noticeably too big for me. I told the salesman I wasn't sure at all about what size pants I would need, because of my recent weight loss. He measured my waist, and lo and behold, I've lost six inches off my waist since my journey began last August. I couldn't help but smile, :-) since I already knew I was down a shirt size, and bought the new articles; telling the salesman, as I left, that I was on mission to put them out of business as far as my patronage was concerned. He smiled back, and said that it was a good goal to have.:-)

So how many pant sizes = 6 inches? I wish I'd of measured myself at my heaviest to see the difference. New clothes feel great. Such restraint you have just buying the 3 items.

Truth be told, I bought two more shirts yesterday, at the thrift store, because I'm not finished losing weight, and I will be smaller than the sizes I bought this weekend, eventually. :-) How's that for being focused on a goal? LOL :-) BTW, I went and got in another good workout today; motivated by the music of Macy Gray, and Janet Jackson; you don't even feel like you are working out. :-)

JessWIN; 6 inches = 3 pant sizes, but I did buy only 2 sizes smaller than I'd been wearing, to allow for a more comfortable fit. I do have shirts that I like to tuck in, and I also eat a large meal, on occasion. LOL :-)
