I had the most AMAZING sleep last night on an empty stomach! Every night for as long as I can remember, I have been waking up every night to go to the bathroom. Sometimes 3-4 times a night. The 1st night of the fast I only got up once. Last night I didn't get up at all. I slept all the way through the night, and woke up 5 mins before my alarm went off. That has never happened before. It took me 40 years to learn that going to bed with an empty stomach will give me the best sleep of my life! I'm planning lighter, earlier dinners from now on. I gotta keep this thing going!

I think I just figured out that night thing too. The less I eat in the evening; the less often I'm up at night. Any one know why?

Thanks April761. @Elvrya623 Everything I read on the internet says that going to bed on an empty stomach is bad, that it can keep you up at night. It says the complete opposite of what I am experiencing. So I searched the bible and found this: Ecclesiasticus 31:20 Sound sleep cometh of moderate eating: he riseth early, and his wits are with him: but the pain of watching, and choler, and pangs of the belly, are with an unsatiable man.
