Not sure about exercise for today. That church commitment, which I knew would be long, took the entire morning and I just got home about 12:30. I know it's not an excuse....and I know I can fit something in....just not sure what.

First things first, though....I must eat something. I remembered to take some cheese sticks along in case the snacks provided weren't Atkins-friendly (and they weren't). I've munched 2 strips of bacon and a hard-boiled egg in the short time I've been home, but I have room (carbs and calories) for a chicken thigh. Then it's time to get some fresh beans ready for tonight.

While not ground-breaking news, I did manage to lose 1 pound in February. That follows from losing just 1 in November, gaining 1 in December, and gaining 4 in January! Obviously, that was a trend that needed to be stopped and I really didn't make any progress until the very end of February. But hopefully, some of the changes I'm making will get me back on a better weight-loss track. Of course, I'd still like to lose 4 pounds per month (1 pound per week), but I can live with 2 pounds per month (half-a-pound per week) at this stage of the journey. Hmmmm....guess that means I'd better do some exercise today or count it as my day off this week.

The light-headedness finally went away yesterday after drinking broth. I don't remember that being so intense, even in Induction. Although, occasionally, in the summertime, I'll drink broth on sweatier (is that a word?) days. Anyway, today I seem to be just fine.

OK.....off to get that chicken!
