So, I got to the end of my Lose Weight in 8 workout series. It is working. My trousers are getting looser around the waist, which makes up for the lack of lbs. lost. A friend told me she had heard that whatever weight you want to reach (in my case 140) then you should only eat calories amounting to that number with a zero on the end, e.g. 1400. With that in mind, I have decided that 1500 (and I do fudge and go over often) is too much and I have reduced the total daily calorie intake to 1300 to see if that will shake loose a few more pounds. My ultimate goal is 130 lbs. I don't expect to see that for many more months, but will keep trying. 6.5 lbs in 10 weeks is less than the 1 lbs a week I had hoped for, even with the muscle weighs more than fat theory!
