Yesterday was a bummer for the travelling with an hour's delay on our flight and almost another hour added by 100mph headwinds. Still, arrived at aour final destination safe and sound at about 2 a.m. Turkish time, midnight local.

I didn't do too badly food wise - had a lot of mini meals through the day and took grapes, banana and walnuts with me. About 10% over RDI.

My bed here is in my sister's home gym! There is still room for me to exercise - she has a treadmill, a bike, a sit-up bench and some free weights, also a TV and some exercise DVDs in there and a tape player with some fast paced dance CDs. It's her birthday today so we're awaiting a "morning coffee" visit from another sister, her son (who'll be on the road back to his uni straight after - he waited so he could see us!), and my mum. Looking forward to seeing them all and exchanging gifts. I went really light on breakfast today as I don't know what the day has in store foodwise.

I do know I'll be in the gym later for sure. My girls will want to go into town this afternoon which is a good 20 minute walk each way and we have a family swimming trip planned for tomorrow, so burning calories this holiday shouldn't be a problem.

What a place to stay! There is NO excuses now! LOL. We always read stories about how people can't get to do their usual routines when they visit family. I'm glad you can do some of yours.

Well, look at you go! I can tell you're not going to twist off (or not by much, anyway). You should return from your holiday with no gains, and with all that great exercise, you may even lose a bit! Now, that's what I call commitment!
