I lost a little willpower yesterday and ended up drinking 1/2 bottle of wine plus two 500ml bottles of beer. Bit of a head this morning. In the grand scheme it's no big deal. I was pleased with myself because Claire had been baking cakes and leaving them on the worktop all day - Normally I would scoff 2 or 3 but I didn't - I subconsciously must have rewarded myself with extra alcohol. My total calorie intake yesterday was 2200 only 300 more than planned. Carbs were 63g just over plan. I will be strict on myself today to compensate.
Pre planning is a critical part of me keeping to low carbs - One portion of the wrong thing can mean a mini disaster. One portion of chips - 50g of carbs
Close your eyes if you don't want to read about food. I think tonight we are going to have ribeye steak- I picked up 6 x 8oz steaks from Oxford butcher for £20 - They look brilliant, the butcher told me that these steaks are prepared for the Raddison Hotel group. They cook them and add chips and sauce -£32 each! I do love a bargain. Our meal will be about £4 each I will have salad instead of chips - Quite a sacrifice. I'm going to see if I can hatch a three day diet plan that keeps carbs on track and allow a decent size portion of chips, for my second ribeye.
The scales said 98.7Kg so I am less than 2 ounces away from losing a stone.
Measured my BP this morning just to check if its changed - 134/78 - Normal for me

As Jocko posted pre-planning is good. You are doing well, I love steak with anything, but salad is definitely a healthy option. Well done not eating the cakes, i don't think i could have resisted a small one. I don't like alcohol unless it's in cooking, but I do have a sweet tooth.

I have the same problem with carbs. If I start, I lose the place.
