Today is a 500 calorie day. I just took a .75 mile walk around the building where I work. It's a perfect day for walking!

I am hungry today for some reason. Last night I wanted to eat "stuff" but I didn't. I was hungry at bedtime - GOOD I was burning fat! :)

I ordered the Brain Octane that you put in Bulletproof coffee (MCT) - I can't stand coffee but I know you can put that stuff in tea. Also ordered some BCAA for before workout. Need to start on some Omega 3 oils too. It's a healthy fat trifecta!

Taking some Benefiber and got some Metamcil to slowwwwlllyy supplement my fiber. I need to eat more vegetables like broccoli, brussel sprouts, cauliflower. I eat enough salad veggies.

I don't know much about the Primal Blueprint diet. Think I will research that.

HI Arabella - Mark Sisson is the creator of Primal Blueprint - it's a paleo/keto diet. His website is great - marksdailyapple. The reason I came up with the list of fats was reading information (and watching YouTube by doctors such as Michael Lara, Jason Fung, Mosley) about Intermittent Fasting and Keto-diets. I have a tendency to go overboard on some things but I research them a lot before I do it. I researched all of the different types of MCT - which are the best kind and what oils have the most of that kind. That's how I arrived at the Bulletproof Diet's version. I read about BCAA (different types of those too) and went to bodybuilding.com to get those. I like Endur products b/c they are a scientific lab and make lots of high grade supplements. That's where I get my Omega 3s. I am not endorsing any of these - I am just saying that after researching and reading those are the choices I made. Also I love Dr Atkins and I have his vita-nutrient book and I use it as a reference to make decisions on supplements to help with fat burning and diabetes. You don't have to do it all at once - I tend to get a little carried away. I don't want to take medicine anymore so I am trying to use supplements for sugar control. I still have to take blood pressure and Janumet for diabetes b/c I have a LOT to lose still!!! :)

Nice discipline getting through the night without any snacking. I know what a big accomplishment that is especially when you feel hungry too. Good work. I love Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, and broccoli. Have you tried avocados?

I haven't tried those yet. I read that they have a lot of fiber and good fats. I will put that on my list of things to try! Thanks!

ny_Shelly Dr. Fung is a HUGE supporter of IF and he has Teamed up with Dr. Andreas Enfeld at DietDoctor.com they not only show you how to lose weigh, what to eat, how to fast and how to REVERSE Diabetes. I am a 28 year Diabetic that was taking 2 injections a day of Levemir (20 units each), 3,000 mg of Metformin daily, 240 mg of Diamicrom daily and 100 mg of Januvia daily. Within 6 weeks of following DietDoctor.com strict level of eating and Dr. Fung's weekend IF (52) I was off all Diabetes Medication. I too started with Adkins but the problem with that is they keep adding more and more carbs to the diet as you progress and carbs are what keeps us both sick and fat. And honestly between my daughter and myself we have lost over 200 pounds in 8 months and we are rarely ever hungry and some time we have fasted for as long as 10 days. Have a look at the site and see if it might help you.
