Okay Okay-I know I have been incommunicado for too long! So busy. Spent Saturday cooking Thanksgiving feast to bring to MIL on Sunday. We had a "winter storm" on Sunday and had to scuttle plans because she lives in the high dessert and the mountain pass was too treacherous without snow tires. That meant, we had TG yesterday, so had to take day off, which meant I had to work all day Sunday. So tired! Good news is yesterday's meal and visit went very well. MIL is getting frail and forgetful and has been taking care of her older sister (Alzheimers) for years. Very stubborn lady! Now sister is in full time care home after falling . She is recovering but we do not think she should return home unless MIL agrees to full time home aide. She says yes and we hire someone and then she very politely throws them out. Stubborn! It's very sad. Getting old is not for sissies.
Have not weighed in-will do so today and report back. Kept my food intake moderate. Only one helping of stuffing, potato and pie and a bottle of champagne.HA!
