I completed the Cool Running Couch 2 5K program on Friday but still wasn't getting a full 5K run in at the speed I was running (I was getting about 2.75 miles) and although my goal was to finish the program I felt like I wasn't really completing it without running a full 5k. Sunday tried to increase my speed and wasn't able to get a full run in, between life and weather I just wasn't feeling it, only made it about 1.5 miles before stopping.

Today I hit the gym and ran an entire 5K run without stopping in 31 minutes. Not world record time but pretty good for this run hating 50 year old heart attack survivor who couldn't run for more than 45 seconds consecutively in May of this year.

Ditto above comments OW!! ...it didn't happen over night though, you had to put in consistent effort to get to where you are right now....along the way overcoming a major physical setback... my hat's off to you!!
