Its amazing how weight loss affects so many parts of our bodies. the scale is not budging for me, but I do feel great. I will do some measurements at the end of next week and see if that will validate all my hard work. I am getting fitter judging by the length and speed of my workouts. have a good day warren!

Thanks lulani! I am very lucky that I have a healthy metabolism, but I remember when playing football, I couldn't get the weight on I needed. You hang in there, and keep working hard, as it will pay off. By the way go to @jadesocoby for this ladies story!

I really DO believe she is SPOT on with this advice!
Advice for Others
What are your best 3 tips for someone looking to make their own transformation?
1. Get in the right mentality. If you’re not mentally ready, you may not make it. I’ve quit more times than I could count because I wasn’t mentally ready for the change.
2. You’re going to have bad days and you’re going to get off track. Don’t get discouraged and just keep pushing. We all have bad days, we’ve all gone off our nutrition plan. It’s not the end of the world, just pick right back up.
3. Stop weighing yourself every day. The scale can in fact be your enemy. My weight goes up and I have to take my lifting belt in a notch. Go by how you look, feel and how things fit!

Thanks for the link Warren. She certainly turned her life around and, yes, her advice is great, especially 1 and 2. No 3 doesn't work for me. If I don't weigh myself every day I'm convinced I must be losing and then get a shock when I get back on the scales and find I've put on 7 pounds in 7 days - lol!

PUPPY LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great inspirational post! Keep up the good work! What did you do to your knee? I have a bum one with bone implant that saved in (too much skiing and aerobics when younger), told me i'd have a replacement, umm by 50! 2 years till 50, and i say NEVER! Did well with strength training, relieving pressure on knee. I'm looking forward to getting back on the press!

Lizzy, I hurt it running the treadmill, exactly the running I am doing now, but I was 285 pounds or so. I nursed it with ice and massage for many months, and it will be a year this October, that I hurt it. I could barely walk, and was very painful for 6 months. I got very lucky with no swelling, and stepped up my walking, and just started running about 6-8 weeks ago.
