Well, the macros look pretty good so far. I am eagerly waiting for my challenge weigh-in on Monday, now that I have a scale to do it with, that is.


A very interesting e-mail appeared in my inbox. It's from one of the doctors to whose newsletters I have subscribed lately. She writes, among other things that, to eliminate cravings instead of merely fighting them off each time they appear, that the Number one thing to do is to stop with the self-blame. I like that, as it always felt weird to me whenever I tell myself that this binge, or giving in to that urge, meant I needed to exercise more control over myself. She writes that one needs to use one's thoughts and feelings to fuel one's progress. Kinda like when I asked myself Monday what I really wanted. "If you take away the power from food, you won't need to fight to have more willpower," she writes. Long story short, she's doing a webinar (on the 15th) that lays out specific things to do to get that power back from food, and I am SO signed up for that broadcast!


Her website, "toomuchonherplate-dot-com" -- cute name, huh? -- has a lot of very interesting and thought-provoking articles. With, of course, the usual stuff for sale, which I tend to ignore in favor of what's available locally. This webinar should be pretty good.


Dunno if I'll be working by then or not, and a little conflicted about what to wish for by then. Probably the job, since the webinars I've been notified about so far have all been recorded for rebroadcast at a time when I'd be home for the evening/weekend. We'll see, I guess.
