Been on a Keto Egg fast this week. I must say I'm about tired of eggs. At least I don't have to buy them since I raise my own free range chickens. I did have a really good supper though. Fettuccini Alfredo, Keto style. Used baked eggs, & cream cheese to make the noodles. Mascarpone cheese, parmesan cheese, & butter for the sauce. Just one more day & I'll be going back to my Low Carb lifestyle. To me, it's not a diet, it's truly a lifestyle. I had type II diabetes, with some high readings before I made Low Carb a lifestyle. The highest I've had in a very long time now was 94, averages about 84. No more Metformin or other drugs for diabetes now. My Cholesterol was high before, now it's normal. Same thing for my blood pressure. It was averaging 160/90 & I took BP pills. Now on my low carb lifestyle it averages 110/65, no more medication for it. I'm not saying low carb is for everyone, but it has been the perfect solution for me.
