Yesterday was a momentous day for me in my transition to a new WOE: I went to the supermarket and bought lots of fresh veggies and salad fixins. Once upon a time I was always too tired and depressed to buy fresh foods that required preparation and to plan meals ahead. Instead, I'd grab the quick tv dinner or bar. Well, yesterday afternoon I spent enjoyable time chopping up vegetables and prepping a salad for the rest of the week. Oh, the joy of spinning a salad spinner! I expected it to be more drudgery, messy, and to take more time than it did but it wasn't so bad. Yay me! :-)
