Been very busy. I have a job interview tomorrow at Charlotte Russe after school tomorrow. I have to work this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The one time I request for a day off, she won't give it to me. Let's not mention one of the managers taking countless days off for birthday's and a new manager who doesn't know how to work the POS and is sucking up to the main manager. She's a manager and doesn't do half the crap she's supposed to do a long with not knowing the complete menu. She's getting paid more than me for work she doesn't complete and do properly, let that sink in. Aside from the obvious inequality, is it possibly a race thing? I'm the only white person that actually works there and all of a sudden a new woman shows up as manager? I don't want to bring race into it, but that's what it looks like.
I can't wait to find a new job.
Update on the guy situation: The supposed to be Valentine stood me up. So I ate his white chocolate truffles and the other guy who was talking about in a relationship - we're pretty much in one now.
I also got my driver's license before Spring Break. I'm passing all my classes and the back window of the car is coming off the top (It's a convertible). So with all the stress right now I have not exactly been eating healthy or right. I haven't been home for the past few days and I come home to be yelled at, do laundry and clean the kitchen.
What's your opinion on a 16 year old boy (who's 380 pounds and stands at 6'4") spending one night and morning by himself? (This morning happens to be a Monday after Spring Break and he is perfectly capable of cooking his own meals and he walks to school. He has all emergency phone numbers in case something happens along with great next door neighbors and a gas station, CVS, fire department, Jack In the Box, Subway, Frenchy's Chicken all in walking distance.)

You are so beyond the cutest! Love your get up and go spirit, smarts, work ethic, humor, and ability to roll with the punches. As far as work goes, sometimes it's a clique thing, and if you're not in the clique, that can be problematic. This happens in many workplaces and may or may not boil down to similarities in culture and point of view that derive from shared ethnicity. It could be age, education, socioeconomic background, stage of life, etc.
