Using what we have in the house to choose what foods we have that meet the low carb lifestyle changes. 12 years ago I gradually changed from low carb into following more of the items my been husband enjoyed. Over these past few months used up rice, canned fruit, corn, noodles, & such as a preparing measure I knew I would be making at some point as mentality preparation was achievable to get back to a low carb lifestyle. Accidents, medication weight gain, treating ourselves, and more added to my weight gain of over 140 lbs. over this marriage. Currently my husband after getting scary chewing out by his doctor has been moved to join me as support and for his own health as he works on controlling his blood sugar levels.
