Gotta keep yeast out of my diet!! Trying so hard to resist white bread and stick with wheat...

Agreed....If you must go with Bread, stick with Ezekiel Bread and only once in awhile.

Sorry meant whole grain not wheat... I'm on an ADHD diet, so I just have to keep away from the yeast breads and try to keep my sugar intake minimal

Wheat and Grains = Carbs, = Sugar. Agreed, I've read good reports of people with ADHD on Low Carb diets. If your goal is to keep the Carbs low, look at your Diet. From what I can see for today, 141gms of carbs is going to still be high. Look to get your Net Carbs below 30gms per day. That will mean no Cap'n Crunch, no Pizza, and limiting the Fruits. Good Luck...!!

You want to keep the weight off, get rid of the bread altogether. Just say no to processed foods like bread. Calorie dense and nutritionally weak.

Thanks a bunch Mahjohn! I had no idea about all that... I'm not interested in losing weight or anything after all I'm only 13, but I need to avoid sugar and yeast... and carbs :)

Agreed...very impressive at a young age to pay close attention....understanding good food from junk food, but not obsessing over weight. For example...a good simple breakfast would be Bacon, Egg, Cheese...and some Avocado (if available). It will give you good Fat to give you a lot of energy for several hours, and a good source of Protein. As you're in school, lunch will be hard as in America, Pizza is classified as a Vegetable <smh>. Look for anything to eat that has as color other than brown or white and nothing fried. So French Fries...they're brown, muffins..brown, pizza..brown, white bread...white. you get the idea. If you can eat with color, this will again help cut the carbs. So while it may mean a salad, make sure that salad as a good amount of protein from chicken, beef, tuna, pork (not sure what they have in school). Then for dinner, look to have fish, chicken, beef, tuna, pork, and vegetables of some kind....again, skip anything Fried, Brown and White. At first it can be daunting as far as what to eat, and no one on here advocates anorexia or silly diets with no nutrients. Your wheat bread probably has yeast. You'll need to read labels if you are trying to avoid yeast.

Hey - there is a great book you might like: author is a doctor named Dr. Perlmutter and the title is "Grain Brain" - he agrees with you about special gluten free food plans for ADHD and other issues. Good Luck!
