Today I am feeling a bit despondent
after only a week
I feel i am already slipping.

I have to stick to the Mediterranean diet I was eating on holiday in France - the 'French' diet because I lost weight on holiday - it is now so hard not to revert back to all my bad eating habits - and, what is probably worse, all the sitting around.

I didn't think it would be so hard 'back home' to basically - not overeat.
and to continue the amount of walking we did - we would walk for miles, sightseeing, hiking in the wonderful landscapes, shopping in gorgeous markets - and drinking good coffee -

things I don't do at home.
I need a holiday blues re-set

I love my walks! Literally all I do is go to the shops and back, it's about 2 miles, but my trick is to find a pair of comfy earphones/buds and load up a whole different bunch of podcasts (true crime, horror, comedy, educational etc) and a massive list of playlists (radio dramas, audiobooks, actual music, Epic etc) and then the boringness of the walk doesn't matter because I focus on what's playing instead. I've even been known to take the scenic route home so I can get to the end of a playlist or podcast 🤣
