I used a RDI calculator recommended in the forums to recalculate my RDI: http://www.calculator.net/calorie-calculator.html
FatSecret gave me a much higher RDI than the site above so I've now adjusted my RDI for food logging. This should help me to see more results, now that I'm getting a handle on the eating.

Yes, FS is usually too high for both RDI and calories burned through exercise. Good Luck!

Sometimes I get frustrated when I weigh something in ounces and the only choice I have to post it in my meal journal is in grams. I tire of looking up grams.

You can change it to something lower. I figured out how. Hit the "calculate my RDI" button. Then when you do it takes you to the " Your Recommended Daily Intake (RDI) is" page, go to "Save your RDI". There is a box next to "Save your RDI" that says the number it calculated. You can erase that number and put a new number. For example when I got 2400 calories. I went to "Save your RDI" and erased 2400 calories in the box and put 1800 calories. Then I hit "save". Now my calorie counter is at 1800 calories a day. Hope that helps.
