I hope it works well for you. I have the Fenix 7 Pro, and it isn't very accurate. The HR is way off during workouts. Other measurements are off as well.  

Thanks TUD. I have been using the garmin forerunner successfully for some time now but the plastic broke so I’m trying the instinct. How frustrating for you that the fénix isn’t working - that’s the most high end model!  

Yes, it is frustrating. The HR is pretty accurate when not doing a workout. And it holds a charge for 25 days. That's all of the positive things I have to say about it. Without the other features working correctly, I seem to have paid way too much.  

I had an instinct I loved it upgraded to a fenix 6 pro and love that one even more. I have the heart rate strap it's awesome for running you get significantly more data if you use the strap  

tud mine is fine for working out but I do use the strap most of the time I lift so I can charge my watch at the same time  

Does it link with phone 🤳 had 2 Fitbits I'm done looking for alternatives  

Cmj yes it does. There is an app called garmin connect. I chose garmin over Fitbit because of the better reviews
