Hi there!
Thank you for comment and very good question.
First of all I am not a physician nor a nutritionist, I have no medical education and I am not a health professional. Therefore I cannot advise or directly answer your question.
However, I can tell what I am doing and again I DON'T ADVISE you or anybody reading this to do the same.
I believe it is ONLY possible by eating to take control of my weight and body.
In the end it is not too complicated, I have realized that my body has a certain need of energy and nutrition daily and I needed to figure out what is that amount and what ingridients are essential.
At one point I have understood that my goal is not loosing weight but being HEALTHY.
With this in mind it took me a while (in the order of years) to find out what is best for my body, mind and health. Then I started to build my set of foods that I would eat day to day. Then I started to keep track of my calorie intake and observe my weight in parallel to see how much shsll I eat and keep a healthy weight ( loss).
Now thay said, of course what helped me always is to excersize, strength training, mostly body weight excersizes and HIIT 5-6 days per week 30-60 minutes per day.
The numbers and content of food is spesific to every different individual. I try to keep my muscle mass increasing or at least not decreasing by eating enough amount of macros ( protein, carbs, fat) and not ignoring the micros ( vitamins minerals) also trying to drink enough water daily.
I can go more in detail but now I need to eat :))
