Looks like fun! 

If you’re anything like a friend of mine, that would look like about 10-12k into the kit…it is really nice though! 

@Stomach Monkeys.. if I was still playing gigs for $$$, I would spend more on a high-end Kit.. but being in a small bach apt, a small kit is all I have room for... or need. I also have 20+ guitars, a set of keyboards, some fun sound generators and effects pedals... as well as a computer specific to just recording my own compositions, got over playing other people's music a few decades ago. I'll save my $$$ for traveling, next stop is back to NZ, with a potential stopover in Aus. 

@MorticiaAddams... it is fun, and a bit frustrating, I am rusty, and these feel much different than playing acoustic drums, which I grew up with... but it will get me more active, which is a gooder thing.

Cheers Jams321... I have some buddies from the mainland that want to come over and jam/record some tracks... so that will add some flavour to life... might even be able to setup an online collab, with a few of em. 

Hahaha Jenjabba... I have my Peavey Powered PA mixer in the closet... I was waiting until my local L&M had the set I wanted in the used section, and traded one of my Bass Guitars for it. This is the last piece to the puzzle... now I need to practice to get the feel of this setup... and work out all the aches and pains... been a long time since I held a set of hickory 7a's. 

Oh that's awesome. My old protools interface is now a paperweight and I've gotta get a new one. Apage next. You can hear me i think if you look up jenjabba Dog and Butterfly or "when he's around" on YouTube. I don't actively post but you know.. once a musician always a musician!  

And i got the QSC'S. i don't bother my neighbors too much haha 

Cool Jenjabba, I have your songs on my playlist for later... I can't even turn up my TV without someone whining here, so it's all gotta be done through the computer, and headphones now. Saw Heart 7 times in the 70's and 80's. so am looking forward to your rendition of Dog & Butterfly. I did some experimental stuff several years ago, when I was just starting to teach myself about recording, playing guitar, using effects units etc... before that I was just a Drummer, but got sick of playing cover tunes and being a metronome for other artists, to record around... some experimental, some I want to develop further... https://soundcloud.com/user-651106724/tracks
