Love those talking husky s. We had one for 16 years; it was so fun to sing with her. Deb, we had a Bernese Mountain dog who was a big bear and very protective/motherly toward our kids when they were young. Now we have two rascley terriers. We do love them, but they are yappy little dogs compared to the big dogs. We're also fostering our daughters plot hound/pity dog who had a nervous breakdown after the new twins arrives. Tazzy is having a two month summer camp with us, then we'll try them with the twins again. She took to pooping on the rug everyday, in protest. 

I got three little yappers, I love them so much but I wish sometimes I could get them to be quiet long enough for me to meditate!!! The big dogs like to be outside more than the little ones, so they go out and start barking at the wild life, and the birds and inside, all hell breaks loose. GAH! I shoo them all out and say go bark out there! 

@Deb... you sure have a lot of patience...lol. I applaud you. 

Zen the aggravation they create is more than compensated by the snuggles, hugs and kisses. The absolute trust and unconditional love they show us. When I have a rough day, my Iris is right there ready to love me to happiness. The others show affection and are always happy to see me, but Iris knows my heart and does her best to lift me up when I am down. 

She is a chubby Chi-weenie, when I flop down in the recliner and sigh, she climbs up on my chest with her little 3 inch legs, she stands there with her nose pressed to mine wagging her tail and looking into my eyes till I smile and grab her for a hug. 

Awwww.... 🥹 That's so precious!!!
