It has been a while since I've used this, and boy do I feel it. I've gained weight and I'm feeling every ounce of it :-( . I don't even want to update my weight here because SEEING it makes it more real and I'm so disappointed with myself. I had a great plan and a great way to eat that gave me slow weight loss without having to cut out anything I liked. I got lost in the comfort and began telling myself that it was ok to over eat because I can just 'do better tomorrow'. It's a trap...don't do it. 🥺

well....here I go again. starting from scratch. I mean, I didn't GET this way overnight, so I won't FIX it over night. *sigh*

Losing weight and keeping it off requires a lifestyle change. One or two bad days will not undo your choice to live a healthy lifestyle. All we can do it try to reduce the temptations that lead us off of the healthy path and substitute bad foods for good foods.

Welcome back. Most of us can relate. I worked as a nurse most of my life and only met one patient who followed his diet perfectly and even he failed once. We are not perfect. I totally understand about eating too much healthy food. A serving size is a serving size and often it is not a lot for the "yummy" stuff. It sucks but it is what it is. We have to be the sheriff as far as what we eat.

Glad you came back and are holding yourself accountable. If this were easy we’d all reach our goals in no time and not need the app! Plus you know how it happened so you can learn from it going forward. Don’t know your calorie goal or exercise habits, but maybe if you make better choices and log everything for a couple of weeks and then get on the scale it will help. All the best to you!

Ana, dont be disappointed be proud of yourself. You acknowledged the weight gain. Don’t be afraid to post it it may allow you to remember it when you are tempted by bad food. Just take it one day at a time. Today is a good day. You will make great choices to move forward. Rinse and repeat tomorrow.
