Today was better, and worse.
It was better because after 6 months I've finally been matched up with a special needs buddy to run for through whoirun4, and it motivated me to go out and put 2 slow miles in. It was better because when I went through Mcdonalds for my lunch and they gave me a large fry instead of a small I managed some self control and only ate part of it instead of the whole delightfully salty carton.
It was worse because I reallly wanted some pizza and I knew that if I had some my calories would be done for the day, and I devoured it.
Two steps forward and one step back still puts me in the right direction though, so I'll take it.
