Hello FS family ~

As you can see by my weight history (that I updated this morning)...I'm in a heap of trouble here. Had to dig out my yoga pants even (sigh).🤦🏻‍♀️

My arthritis is in a flare, making movement difficult and painful (back to my walker for now). I've switched biologics back to Enbrel but I haven't had enough weeks of it, to have it kick in yet. Getting blood work done again next week, including thyroid levels, as I suspect it may be out of whack. Had my thyroid removed some years ago, but don't have an endocrinologist currently, and my meds have not been adjusted at all.

So, some medical issues, some new stressors with feeling anxious about out-of-state company coming for a visit in a few weeks. I want the house and the yard to be in tip-top shape but I lack the strength and/or enthusiasm to get it done. I'm feeling really quite overwhelmed by it all.

On the one hand - I really miss my 'thigh-gap' and on the other - it's nice to have some boobs back🤣

I can't do this alone.......the reason I was successful before here on FS, is because I kept checking in here, sharing helpful tidbits re food & fitness choices and feeling part of a 'community'. Of course, not everyone agreed with the things I shared and I actually became afraid that I would steer someone wrong and they would somehow be harmed by my posts. I know I'm not qualified to give medical advice, so I try to be careful.

This post for today is very very basic, common sense stuff....that I have NOT been doing consistently for months now. I'm praying that I can incorporate these back into my daily routine...one day at a time.

I've missed you guys.💙💙💙 This can be such a welcoming/safe place to share and to learn. Honestly, the food pictures trigger me to eat (these days) but hopefully I will soon have my sense of purpose back and some level of self-control!

This turned into an essay! Thanks for listening and a special thank-you to those who sent private messages to check in on me. 🤗

Not a problem, Crystal! Cortisol reduction helps with weight loss, therefore reducing stress helps us lose weight. It's half the battle, but it's a very important part of the battle. 🫂

Just thinking Crystaljo - have you looked into the recent studies about uric acid? I think I have a link on my page at the bottom. It's worth investigating if you have arthritis I think?

So glad you are back and keep posting helpful tips! Keeping no junk food in the house is #1 for me. As far as giving advice they will hurt someone these are our journals and the things I eat or do for exercise is individual for me and people have to understand that when following others. It is just one tool for anyone to make their own informed decision on what they will do. Being a part of a group is important for success and it looks different for everyone. You got this and have missed you!

Your comments @Jergens1>3 are completely out of line and not in keeping with the supportive nature of this site. You‘ve been reported.

Crystal - you have the power to delete those comments too on your posts. I do that anytime I get a troll and report them.
