Cinnamon is surprisingly good for you, & tasty, too.
I only know this bc my husband became diabetic & we found out that cinnamon & blueberries (not necessary together) lowered his blood sugar so much that he didn't need his metformin. He's now lost enough weight that he's in remission, but he's still careful & eats blueberries all the time. 🙂
