I think this is my first public journal entry and I guess I'm doing it because I kind of disappointed myself. I was on the road for work and made every excuse I could think of to justify my poor food choices. I'm actually afraid to step on the scale today... so I will leave it until tomorrow.

I am an avid runner so that exercise was my only saving grace.

Now that I am home... it will be easier to make healthier choices and stay on top of my RDI calculator.

Being on the road is always a challenge. Don't beat yourself up. You will do better next time. Keep on running and Good Luck!

I’m such an “all or nothing” person that slip ups would lead to full on binges. You will get back on track and this is just a small moment of your larger progress…you got this!!

Best of luck. Remember not to make Good the enemy or opposite of Perfection. A couple of bad choices don’t make us what we are. Rather how we come out of that situation has a much bigger effect.

I feel like writing it out does help to make one aware of the trip ups . Not to beat ourselves up but to be able to see, know, and do better. 👏

Wishing you luck. I understand your frustration. I quit my job a few months ago....(due to a couple of very toxic, abusive co-workers). I dropped my calorie intake from 1800 to 1200 or less, due to lessened activity, and I am steady gaining weight. It's almost impossible to eat less then 1200. Don't know how to change it.

Just remember. A bad run workout does not mean you won’t have a good race a few months down the road. So one day of poor nutrition choices isnt the end either. Just regroup , refocus and stay with it. You got this.
