I just can't get into tracking everything I eat. I start off good but forget. So far since returning, I haven't done bad but I understand the accountability tracking your food gives you. Well I can't wait to weigh in next Monday to check my progress!

It does take some getting used to. I remember when I first started, it was hard to face the reality of the foods I was choosing & the portions I was eating of them. I didn't want to believe that I was eating 400 calories of rice in one sitting on a regular basis!!! But the more willing you are to be honest with yourself about stuff like that & log it anyway, the more you learn to forgive yourself & even give yourself permission to indulge responsibly. It's a process, no one does it perfectly at first, but you gotta start somewhere. One thing that made it easier for me was taking a few minutes the night before to plan out the entire next day. Even if I swapped out a bunch of stuff, having that framework in place gave me some parameters to work with. Something to think about. :)

I am on summer break and I imagine with school starting soon, I won't be as meticulous as I'm being now.. lol.. Well, I've joined a challenge of doing this and that helped. :o) Just keep on keeping on.. that's the way brother!!
