Does anyone have any helpful hints about figuring restaurant meal values? I skipped the queso, but I did eat the rice and sour cream on my plate. I didn't even order the queso because then I would never be able to lay off the tortilla chips .
It was good to get out of the house. I've gotten into a routine of only leaving the house about once a week. 😕

If it's a chain restaurant, I check to see if that meal is listed in the FS data base. If it's privately owned, I either try to find something comparable at a similar resteraunt or break down the ingredients as closely as I can & log them.

Also, if it's a chain & not already on FS, I look it up online to see if there is nutritional info for that meal. If so, I enter it into FS.

I add about 500 calories to whatever FS calculates the meal as (just add 5 Tbsp oil or butter) since the restaurant will have used more than I would have cooking the same at home.
