Fasting Glucose of 101 this morning. Still shooting for an improvement in that metric. Initially i would like two weeks of continuous readings below target. Not there yet. BMI at about 26.9. Of all things, i need to exercise. Everything else in moderation.

Good luck improving your metrics!
I actually had to stop worrying about my fasting glucose. It was driving me crazy not being able to figure out the pattern. Seems to be a serious case of the dawn effect. My overall A1C is good but I’m often over 130 when I wake up and sometimes even more; no rhyme or reason either. 🤷♀️

Yeah i agree that A1C would be a better indicator, but since i am not scheduled for a check up until February, i watch what I can. With NAFLD on my charts while carrying the extra weight, the waking glucose in excess of 100 classifies me as pre-diabetic. I want out of that classification. I don't want to be diabetic with in the next 5 years. I also want to see if the doctor will check my ApoB as well.
