that truck is clean! I was a gm guy until my 14 Sierra 1500 got tboned and I made the switch to a 22 F250 I miss my Sierra but I have to say the new ford has been pretty awesome. I know that must be blasphemy for a chevy gal such as yourself haha 

@otb123 Kinda but then again I was never a Dodge person and my husband had a 2015 Ram 1500 when we started dating. I drove it and loved it. Then it got a broken rear differential so we traded my 2018 car and the truck in for the Ram 2500. I miss my car but I am a truck girl.  

I don't think we could ever go back to not being a truck family again! We're waiting on a little pickup to be built for my wife now too.  

@otb123 I know it is much handier. I bought my truck in 2014 because I was single and gave up meeting a truck man ha. My truck has been me through thick and thin. I fully intend to keep it. I told Hubs that I would like to get it repainted since the roof and hood are sunburned. 

As gas has hit that $7 mark people who don’t really “need” a truck are having a little buyers remorse. Here inCalifornia, there are a large number of trucks used primarily for recreational purposes. 

@Wisteria: I used to date guys that had motorcyles because I loved riding so much. But of course I got impatient, so I ended up taking a 2 week safety riding class (bikes included) and just got my own license. A third of the class was women, all of whom were tired of riding on the back of the bike. @Otb: I take it pickups are more bear-proof, unlike the wife's sedan with the enticing up-chuck treats? 😄 

@Kenna Morton I would be walking as much as I could in that case. Granted Texas is better in the fuel department. Hubs has a diesel and that bothers me more. @JustBananas I am too afraid of careless drivers to be on a motorcycle. My ex boyfriend was a biker. Never had the urge to ride. Hubs has had a bike in the past but he is more interested in getting a boat. 

@Wisteria: the big thing about a motorcycle is making sure other drivers see you. On more than one occasion I have seen women in bikinis & bright matching helmets ride past me. EVERYONE notices them! Personally I am not interested in getting my legs and chest bug-splattered, and I am very pale and would probably sunburn. So there are pros & cons to bathing suit biking 😎👙🏍️

I did buy a Dodge truck because I loved the look, but I did spend a fair amount on repairs. Sadly I wouldn’t buy a Dodge again. 

@pblawson thanks! I try to keep it in tip top shape. @kennamorton I do wonder how long the ram will go without needing repairs  

Wisteria. These were weird things that happened like my entire dashboard crumble on a trip to my Ranch. Over the period of an hour or so a crack developed and by the time I got home it had disintegrated. An internet search showed it had happened to hundreds of people and Dodge refused to cover it under warranty. It was either $800 or $1400 to replace it. I had a couple other freak things happen as well that they wouldn’t cover. But, I loved that truck. After I sold my ranch I sold the truck and my car and bought a RA4. Suits my needs 

@Tim Vail Thanks! I try. It is 20 years old but I treat it like it is new. @Kenna Morton Wow that would tick me off so badly to have a broken dashboard.
