First seven days of dieting done and I’m learning so much here much love to you guys!

I had my first hangry episode where I wanted to give up this evening and binge on whatever I could grab but I fought it and ended up staying in my calorie zone i averaged 1100 calories this week and felt weak and tired each day I learned 1000 calories a day is not good for my height and weight and age so I’m shooting for 1500-1600 calories a day this next week hopefully it will be easier and more energetic and I’m not gonna be as strict on what I eat I’ll still eat healthy an get plenty of protein but if I crave a hotdog or hamburger I’m gonna let myself have it as long as I stay in my calorie zone and keep carbs as low as possible

You're wise to adjust when you realized your calories were too low. The best diet for you is the one you can stick to permanently. A short-term term, white knuckle approach will only offer temporary results. Best of luck to you! 👍

Make sure to include plant based protein: beans, grains, seeds, veggies. Since I added lean animal based protein back into my diet, I have started planning my meals by FIRST deciding what veggies, beans, grains, seeds I wish to have, THEN I add 2-3 oz of lean animal protein as needed to bring my protein to around 90 grams per day. You will feel so much better and have more energy by including fibrous foods: beans, greens, mushrooms, whole grains, whole fruit, whole veggies.

I'll second what karen said. I find fiber to be incredibly filling, and since I don't do hungry well, I rely on it to keep me satiated
