Thank you everyone for the kind words. We live in Texas. I think his only option is to be a trucker again and ruin our home life and the point of the rv was to go enjoy time with each other.
I got home and he is a broken man. He is very angry at his boss for firing him like he did. We're in such a bind.
I sat with hubs, held him and prayed. He smelled smoky and it made me hurt and he wanted to go outside but he refrained because I was home.
He's watching a movie now and I'm in bed. We're emotionally drained

Since he was terminated in Texas see should be eligible for unemployment. He should sign up immediately, while he job searches. Texas economy is very strong and business's are hiring as I see signs everywhere I go. Hopefully you can support each other through this and come out stronger and better on the other side of it.

Autumnwhisper, blessings to you, life can be so hard, a journey for sure. You're human, so having anxiety is normal. I will pray for you to be strong and get through daily life with little pain as possible. Maybe it won’t be so bad since there’s a ton of jobs out there right now. Be patient with him, he’s probably upset as it is.

I will mention unemployment again. He said it would take too long to get funds coming in but getting it started is better than waiting. Yes, I haven't mentioned the smoking but it hurts to smell it on him. And his cough is getting worse and it terrifies me.

@Kenna Morton for my husband to find a job that is not going on the road for weeks at a time. But also for our problems to heal as well. Granted going on the road would calm his nerves and might lead to quitting smoking but then i wouldn't see him
