My Cousin Bill is a type 2 diabetic.

It took him 2 years to lose 50 pounds, as recommended.

His diabetic prevention diet was similar to phase 3 of the 2010 Atkins diet.

He had been assigned to nutrition classes.

He is off his medication because his A1C reached the perfect level. He still gets his blood checked at a lab once a month.

At that rate it will take me about 3 years to lose my 79 pounds on my N/A diet plan.
