In 2010 I was overweight.

I followed the Dr. Atkins program (as per my Neurologist).

My final weight was 135 pounds at 5'7".

(That was before my new medication that causes weight gain as a side effect.)

At that time Atkins had a support group online. They re-aligned and took away the support group in the revision. What an awful thing to do to Atkins. (I used fatsecret then also.)

Anyway, eventually I fell away from healthy eating, and now look where I am at. UGH!

In the past, I read Dr. Atkins original book, and The New Atkins For A New You (2010). And I used them as my only guideline. Now Atkins is a world away from where it was in 2010. So now I am on the N/A diet plan - I do what I think is correct for me.

What I do today, in the beginning, may and will change as I follow my new journey.

I did learn a lot that I can still use from that 2010 Atkins book. As in bacon is not "bad" food. And the healthiest fruits are cherries, berries, and cantaloupe.
